The first part of ridge trail in the Hradec Králové region begins at the tourist border crossing Vosecká bouda / Hala Szrenicka and leads along the Krkonoše ridge, sometimes on the Polish side, through Česká boka, Sněžné jámy, Mužské and Dívčí kameny, Slezské sedlo to Polední kameny, where you will be captivated by the beautiful view of the glacial lakes Great and Little Staw. From Polední kameny, ridgetrail continues through Obří sedlo to the highest mountain in the Czech Republic - Sněžka (1603 m above sea level). From Sněžka, the route then continues through the Jelenka and Soví sedlo tourist hut to Pomezní Boudy, so that it leaves the Czech side for a while and is led along the Polish side of the border. Hřebenovka returns to Bohemia at the Horní Albeřice tourist border crossing and continues through the Corner of the Border and the Hubertus cottage to Žacléř.
In Žacléř, the route changes north and continues back to Poland via Růžový palouček. In Bohemia, ridgetrail reappears near the village of Libná, leads through the village of Zdoňov to the Adršpach-Teplice Rocks, passes through Teplice nad Metují, Meziměstí, Broumov to Broumov walls to the Hvězda tourist cottage. From here, the route leads through the Broumov walls through Supí Hnízdo to Kamenné hřiby and to the views of Zaječí rokle and Slavenská. The route continues under Božanovský Špičák to Machovský kříž and to the village of Machov. At the village of Závrchy, Hřebenovka again leaves the Hradec Králové region and continues to Pstražna, Poland, and towards Kudowa Zdrój.
The last part of ridgetrail starts near the village of Česká Čermná and leads through the village of Nový Hrádek to Olešnice in the Eagle Mountains. From here it continues to the ridges of the Orlické Mountains in Vrchmezí, Šerlich, Masaryk's Cottage, Velká Deštná to the Kunštát Chapel and further to the lookout tower on Anenský vrch to the Hanička artillery fortress. Hřebenovka leaves the Hradec Králové region at Zemská brána, from where it continues to the tourist cottage in Čihák.
