Malá Úpa is an ideal place for hiking, cycling and trips to Poland. In winter the location of the hotel is perfectly suited for visiting nearby ski resorts. There is a range of well-kept cross-country skiing tracks for classic and skate skiing in the vicinity of the hotel.  

The location of the hotel is an ideal starting point for ascending the mountain Sněžka (1,602 metres above sea) which is 7 km away.

You can also make trips to Pomezní Boudy where the all-year open fairy-tale trail of Marie Kubátová starts – it is suitable for both children and adults.
